Location

Located merely 0.9 km from the Medieval Ponte Vecchio Stone Bridge, the smoke-free Hotel S.Giorgio & Olimpic Florence offers air-conditioned rooms approximately 5 minutes' walk from the 15th-century Dominican church "Basilica of Santa Maria Novella". The 3-star hotel provides currency exchange and a lift, plus Wi-Fi in public areas and public parking nearby.

Some of the 61 air-conditioned rooms come with a mini-bar, tea and coffee making facilities, and essentials such as individual climate control, central heating, and ironing facilities. They offer such nice touches as a stone fireplace and soundproof windows, along with a sofa bed and a study desk, and marble flooring. Guests can make use of a hair dryer and a shower cap in the private bathrooms with a bidet, a walk-in shower, and a separate toilet. Some rooms also boast street views. Self-catering facilities in an apartment include a kitchenette with a microwave oven and fridges.

The S.Giorgio serves continental breakfast in the morning. The cosy bar is also available. Offering Central-Italian dishes, Trattoria Za Za lies within 5 minutes' walk of the property.

The hotel enjoys an excellent location in San Lorenzo, ideal for market shopping and Medici bling, not far from the celebrated marble-clad Gothic monument "Campanile di Giotto". The S.Giorgio Florence is around 500 metres from the 15th-century Riccardi Medici Palace and 5 km from Peretola airport. Guests will also appreciate the vicinity to Giardino Corsini, located nearly a 10-minute walk away. There is the public Boboli Gardens just 1.7 km away. Hotel S.Giorgio & Olimpic is within reach of Florence Santa Maria Novella railway station.
